Changing Room mates

Yesterday I had a person come over to look at the room that I have to rent. With prices going through the roof, and with me having an extra room to rent why not fill a room with a "good" person. I will talk in greater detail about the people that have come and gone through the room but as for now my "potential roommate" and that is why I use that term so loosely, arrived and I welcomed her in. I showed her the living room and then the bath room, something weird happened when I showed her the bathroom. I said,"Go ahead take a better look you can go inside." Her response took me by surprise,"No, it's okay." I feeling that she might not want to impose I reaffirmed her that is was okay and repeated,"Go ahead take a look." At this point her position was quite more firm,"No!" I at this point was like, what's her problem, but not wanting to show my discontent I continued to show her the kitchen and then the backyard. She was more interested in the space for her dog then that of one for herself. She then pointed out the sound of the freeway and how loud it was, which is it not, she then mentioned how she likes to have the windows open to let in fresh air, I live in Pasadena, CA or for that matter LA County, fresh air I reiterate, good luck with that or any person looking for fresh, she should get a HEPA filter or be like those drivers that I see on the freeweigh with a surgical mask looking like ninjas or Michael Jackson. Well she then asked about central air at which I told her that we didn't have it, and told her that a window AC would be good if temperature was a problem during the summer days, but then if you want to have the window open for fresh air that would make it hard to do. In any case I walked her out and she left me and Kobe for the evening, but not before asking for directions to the 110 fwy, which I sent her in the wrong direction, just kidding, I told her as she left that if she gets lost and needs directions again to give me a call, never heard from her so I guess she did alright.
After she left I remembered that I never showed her the room that she was interested in moving into, man that was weird, then I thought about the bathroom incident and it made sense that she didn't want to go in there, it's a confined space and a person could be assaulted if not knowing where she is going, so I guess she did okay in not taking a better look, good for her, nowadays you just never know. Sign of the times we live in.
